Halloween house par-ay

One of my mates threw a radical Halloween house party.
Everyone got into the spirit (get it? ... spirit... ghost... scary... no?) of things and had a phat time.

I didn't have the camera out much but here a few highlights...

It was the first house party I've been to in ages, and it reminded me that house parties are the Bee's knees.
more house parties, more often I say.

Cats!

We ran a 'Love your pet' feature in the paper.
The obvious choice was to get some kind of domestic animal for the cover.
After a few dog owners fell through, we called up the RSPCA to see if they could help.
Turns out they had a load of 4 week old photogenic kittens!

The original idea was to get a few of them squashed in together all cute like. But it wasn't doing it for me.

They were quick little buggers, but it added to the fun!

the cover
I had my head stuck in their cage, trying to keep up with the little buggers.
I'm usually not the biggest fan of cats. I mean I like them and all, it's just that I'm allergic to them so I kinda keep my distance.
I was weezing for the rest of the day, but it was worth it in the end.

Random Overseas Photo #6

We spent a new years in Budapest.
It was ridiculously cold, which added to an awesome experience.
I remember we all had cabin fever and were at each others throats.

This is Mad Murphy and Slater at some steam pools.
We went swimming after this photo.
Exhilarating!

The Jezabels

I've followed the Jezabels for a while now, I think their music is tops.
I've been able to shoot a couple of their shows over the last year and a bit...
Here are a selection....

These ones were a free show at the beach road in Bondi.
I think they were supporting The John Steel Singers, I hadn't heard of them at this stage.

These ones were at the Annandale, this was a fantastic show.

These ones were at the Oxfor Arts.... It was good to see the crowds get larger and hipper with each show

Anyway, without being one of those guys who tells you what to listen to. You should probably check them out.

Delphic

I got the chance to shoot Delphic at the Oxford arts Factory.

They were great, and the show was pretty fun to shoot.
Plenty of colour and smoke.
