Random Overseas Photo #4
We spent the New Years of 2008 at Edinburgh's Hogmanay Festival.
This was in the afternoon of New Years Eve... we just came out of a scotch whiskey tour and we were ready to hook into a good night.
We slept in wicked camper-vans that were painted like the 'Mystery Machine' out of Scooby doo. Fact.

It's raining....or is it?
We needed a cover for the paper I work at.
It had been raining in town for about a month, so we decided a 'rainy day' themed cover would be appropriate.
Only problem was, the day that we went to take the shot was bone dry! We decided to improvise with a watering can.
I roped my beautiful girlfriend Nora into wearing a 12 dollar K Mart child-sized raincoat and getting dosed with water.
It took some coaxing, but she agreed after I assured her the flimsy raincoat would protect her.
Nora probably gave this look after i ordered another can full.
After about 10 can fulls, a million shots and some nifty Photoshopping, we got a great cover.

Roosters!
I have a mate who works on the Sydney Roosters graphic design team, he invited me along to capture the atmosphere of game day... I jumped at the chance.
I took a million shots... here are a few.
The Roosters might have lost the grand final the other night... but you cant deny they had a great season.
Just couldn't contain the big red V!
The 'Chook Pen'
The Roosters were finding it tough, and trailed in the first half.
This made my assignment of 'try and photograph excited fans' difficult.
Everyone had the shits and looked worried.
Thankfully Carney turned it on and the Roosters stormed home!
It has been a dream of mine to be a guy who runs out on the field taking photos after the game.....Tick it off the list!
Big thanks to my man B-rad for the opportunity!
